Birding Without Borders Magazine Cover
For this assignment, I had to design a magazine cover that would have varnish added to it. I wanted the varnish to be glossy and on the 6 birds to bring out their colors. With this piece, I created pieces in Photoshop and then moved them into InDesign where I arranged them and added text. I used Photoshop brushes for the clouds and ground. I masked out the bird silhouettes, clipped a white color fill on them and then used watercolor brushes in Photoshop with the color dynamics set to vary the hue to paint them.
