Crown Meadows Winery Branding and Packaging
For this project, the goal was to create a modern logo for a winery that had a younger adult audience and traditional Spanish influence. I also had to design a business card, brand guide, and 4 wine labels with one of the labels being for a reserve wine. To design my logo, I traced the flower piece from the tile with the pen tool and arranged 3 of them together and noticed that it looked like a wine glass.
I modified the shape to become a wine glass, filled it with wine, and added the crown to get the icon part of the logo. I created a horizontal logo, stacked logo, 2 icons, and 2 wordmarks for the winery. The logo was made entirely in Illustrator along with the business card. I got the information for the labels from real bottles of wine that I had. For my label designs, I thought of using the wine glass icon for the design because I wanted the flower icon to be on the cork/top, but decided to use the flower icon for the design because I could change the colors of it to match the theme of each wine label having it’s own color and it worked with the pattern on the labels as well. The labels were made in InDesign with the design, logo, and patterns coming from Illustrator.
