Rise Against Concert Poster
For this project, I had to create a poster for either a movie or a concert by compositing images. I chose to do a concert poster for the band Rise Against. I designed the image in Photoshop and then brought it into InDesign where I arranged it and added text. This was made when they released an album called Wolves and were having a concert for to show it off, so I designed this poster based off of the new album. To show that the concert would show off the new album, I overlayed the cover of the album onto the brick wall behind the band members and added a wolf howling at the moon. I masked the images of the moon, band logo, trees, field, wolf, brick wall, and band members. I used the refine edge feature to mask the wolf and band members accurately. I also adjusted everything to have the dark feeling of night and also because the color scheme of the poster fits the band and their punk/rock genre.
